Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 16, 2021, Saturday, addressed ‘Prarambh: Startup India International Summit’, where he interact with startups via video conferencing and talked about the new-age revolution and the need for the digital revolution.
In yesterday’s event, he hoisted a closed-door roundtable where he interacted with more than 200 world’s leading minds from over 25 countries. He talked about internationalization for startups on one platform and enabled government and international organizations to share their views to ignite the minds of young innovators and entrepreneurs.
PM Modi went ahead and claimed this century to be the century of Asia and the need to further develop the labs of Asia. He motivated the aspiring youth that their aim should be that people should come forward from our land to become future entrepreneurs. “India is trying to create a startup ecosystem which will be based on the key principle of the youth, by the youth and for the youth,” he quotes.
PM Modi talked about artificial intelligence notifying that it is in use in various sectors like defence, agriculture, education, health, and fintech sectors. Initiatives like Digital India are providing a robust ecosystem to these start-ups. Prime Minister also announced a seed fund worth Rs 1,000 crore to help establish startups and further help grow their businesses.
