Consumer financier Bajaj Finance’s consolidated net profit in the first quarter of 2021-22 rose 4.2% year-on-year (YoY) from 962 crores to 1,002 crores. The gross non-performing assets (GNPAs) ratio worsened to 2.96% of gross advances and bad loans increased to 1.46% from 0.5% YoY. Assets under management (AUM) increased by 15% from 1.38 lakh crore to 1.59 lakh crore.
