Mumbai based company GetFocus acquired by Moka for an undisclosed amount. Moka is a Point-of-sale company based out on Jakarta. The acquired company GetFocus is Mumbai based startup which is a contextual marketing company. The main focus of the tie is to strengthen the relationship between the countries and companies also. The duo companies want to develop together in technology, leadership, and management.
Moka started its operation in the year 2014 by Haryanto Tanjo and Grady Laksmono. The company will provide the payment, end to end pop solutions for the SME (small and medium scale enterprises) to empower them in the country that is in Indonesia. It will help companies to increase the sales. Every day 12,000 merchants use the services of the company.
Prateek Chaturvedi and Manoj Gudi started the company GetFocus in the year 2014, to provide Indoor solutions for app developers. The company clients are BookMyshow, HDFC bank and some more are on the list.
The Moka not only acquired Mumbai based startup GetFocus but also raised funding $24 Million. The fund raised from Sequoia Capital India from round B, many new companies joined the round Sequoia India and Softbank Ventures Korea, EV Growth, and EDBI. The Moka is planning to start its Technology center office in the Bangalore which hot spot for the startups in India. This technology center is lead by Prateek Chaturvedi; the aim is to double the workforce by 2019.
