Abhishek is a widely travelled motorcycling enthusiast who brings contagious passion and energy to the workplace.

Startup  Establishment.

Headquartered in Gurugram, EVeez began operations in 2019. Today the company is transforming the mobility ecosystem by pioneering electric mobility as a service (eMaaS) in India. They offer flexible weekly and monthly E2W subscriptions to gig riders, individuals, small and medium businesses, fleet operators, logistics companies and the ground force/sales force of soon-icons, unicorns and MNCs. They carefully-customizable vehicles are coupled with best-in-class services to offer a reliable, safe, and completely peace-of-mind experience to customers.

The Idea and Concept.

Gaurav Rathore backpacking in Europe with his wife and had the good fortune of experiencing riding an electric cycle on the country roads. They rode across the Alps in Austria on an electric cycle and it was the best way of exploring the pristine beauty of the landscapes. It was clean and green while also being a fun activity at the same time. When Gaurav Rathore came back, he started exploring  if India had a similar ecosystem to explore nature, especially the hills. He surprise, he found a handful of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) of electric cycles and started a tech-guided eBike tour company which provides electric cycles to people visiting tourist towns like Rishikesh, Manali, Goa, Jaipur etc. It was a small, closely knit, yet growing community of travel enthusiasts, both from India and abroad who loved to explore India through this innovative concept. During the course of this business, people from the delivery ecosystem began to get in touch with them with requests for electrifying their fleet. These conversations revealed the immense impact on the environment and the livelihoods of gig riders through an electric mobility subscription model which finally culminated in the form of EVeez.

Innovative and Uniqueness.

The business model they have pioneered over the last couple of years is the fastest and most effective method of EV adoption in India. By offering freedom, flexibility and access to finance, they have made EV user-ship the most attractive form of EV adoption across the country.

Mission and Vision

EVeez is on a mission to make mobility affordable with zero emissions. They have embarked on an ambitious journey to achieve the electrification and de-carbonisation of mobility in India.

 The Products and Services

They currently have five plans for E2W subscriptions ranging from Rs. 3300 per month to Rs. 5500 per month.

The Current Problem and Solutions.

They are very confident that our contribution to making EVs popular in India will help in ensuring the sustainability of the mobility ecosystem – not only in the country but across the globe. Further, the eBike subscription model will become instrumental in ensuring a complete switch to electric mobility. This option of flexible subscriptions is very significant for an uncertain and price-sensitive market like India. Changing business dynamics deter individuals and businesses from investing large amounts in purchasing EVs; thereby causing both economic and environmental losses. They firmly believe that our model provides access to new livelihoods, and access to finance, and also promotes gender parity in employment opportunities.

 The Target Audience

The EV market is expected to cross $200 billion with an average annual rate of 49% between 2021 and 2030. The just concluded FY 23 was a watershed year for EV adoption as the Indian electric mobility ecosystem finally began to emerge from nascent stages and is now poised to achieve scale. As they go down the line, a lower upfront cost and greater certainty around EV technology would address the key roadblocks of accessing both investment and affordable financing for EVs, thereby unlocking the growth potential of the electric mobility sector in India.

The gig rider is certainly at the heart of our focus as we endeavour to make mobility cost-effective and emission-free. In addition, we cater to small and medium businesses, fleet operators, logistics firms, and organisations and companies which depend on the daily movement of large numbers of their workforce.

 Achievements and Milestones.

They have more than 3500 eBikes subscriptions across Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Kolkata. They are proud of both their monthly and yearly sales story with the platform recording a monthly growth of 20% while growing 5 times on a YoY basis. In terms of their contribution to the environment, they have helped save nearly 6,50,000 litres of fuel and 20,00,000 kg of CO2 emissions.

Funding round

Their last seed round closed in October 2022 with lead investors EV2 Ventures and Ah! Ventures Fund. They plan to open up our next round of discussions for funding towards the end of this month.
