New Music Destination Launched By Facebook on Facebook Watch

On Saturday, the social media giant dropped the news of its introducing new official music videos on the platform and also launched a new destination in India on Facebook Watch.

The latest feature by Facebook will allow users to watch their favorite music videos. There are only a few countries yet in which this feature is available and that is USA, India, and Thailand.

The music for each country’s users will be customized and they will be able to select the top genres from their country and can watch their favorites. Like for example in India, T-series Music, Zee Music Company, Yash Raj Films, etc. as revealed by the company.

The social media platform has also made searching for your perfect music very easy for you as it allows searching by genre, mood, artist, and also by choosing your theme. The feature however is not available on the desktop yet but is fully compatible with Android and iOS.

“Over the past year, we have been working with partners in the Indian music industry to build the foundation of a music video experience for our consumers. We will continue to find opportunities to add more unique social sharing experiences and bring music into the ways people share and connect on Facebook,” Manish Chopra, Director, and Head of Partnerships, Facebook India, said.

Apart from this, the users will also be able to share their music videos directly through the Newsfeed as well as also allow your family and friends to do the same through the search option.
