In this entrepreneur’s era everyone wants to start a startup but its not easy as what we think, to start a startup we need an idea and planning and most important we need investment but it’s not possible to find investors easily this is the main snag for entrepreneurs, to avoid that some companies conducting Startup exhibitions and investment meets.
The StartupExpo powered by TiE and Lufthansa conducting Startup Exhibition to showcase their ideas and to get investment and mentorship.
The current StartupExpo is the 3rd season, which completed 2 Expos previously and helping in creating many entrepreneurs in the country. The Expo is going to start on October 6, 2018, in the capital city of the country New Delhi. The Expo is an initiate of Lufthansa India and TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) of Delhi with the support of startupIndia and Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI).
The Startup Expo is the largest ecosystem for the startup success. It is a platform where you can do a lot of chances in a single day, they are;
- Exhibit your idea.
- Meet investors.
- How to get success.
- Network building with experts.
- Can win the Elevator Pitch Contest.
As the previous two expos are successful and only in the last year
13,000 participations and 1000 investors meetings held. For the current edition, they expecting 20,000 delegates, 500 startup showcases, more than 100 mentors, and 100 investors. It is the expo for the investors, professionals, enablers, mentors, government agencies, partners, corporates, and fellow startup entrepreneurs.
The other major important thing is the Elevator Pitch Contest, where you can win the contest in 3 minutes just by giving a brief about your startup. If you seal the contest can get sponsorship for the entrepreneurial programme at Cambridge University, you will get mentorship from TiE. The Elevator Pitch Contest launched in August 2018.
The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) started in the year 1992. It is the platform for the entrepreneurs, investors, industry leaders and professionals, which is headquartered in silicon valley.
This Expo is supported by the Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP), SIDBI, StartupIndia, and more than 100 partners. If you have an idea and you want to showcase then you can apply for it, the applications are open and free.
